Vaccine and treatment communication; risk perception and behaviour change; communicating uncertainty; community health media; climate discourse.

Recommender systems and visibility; content moderation and platform policy; regulation across jurisdictions; data access for researchers.
Media literacy and communication education
Curriculum and pedagogy; assessment of literacy interventions; teaching communication with and about AI; multilingual classrooms.

Submission types
Full paper
Completed research. 300-word abstract, then 6,000–8,000 words. 20 minutes plus questions.
Short paper
Work in progress or a focused finding. 3,000–4,000 words. 12 minutes plus questions.
Panel proposal
Four to five contributors on one question, with a chair. 800-word rationale plus abstracts.
Doctoral colloquium
For candidates 12–30 months in. 1,500-word summary, discussed with two assigned mentors.
